For those meeting you for the first time, tell us a little about yourself.
Hi, I'm Sabrina! I'm a TV events host, commercial model, hand talent, and courtside reporter.
When did you start your hosting career? Can you share some details that influenced your decision to become a host?
Ever since I was a kid, I knew in my heart that I wanted to be in the entertainment industry. In fact, when I was still doing commercials as a kid, I'd study the hosts and interviewers I saw on TV, then act it out in front of the mirror — that was basically my training ground. Then in 2019, I randomly came across an online app looking for livestream hosts. I gave it a shot, and I got the job. Six years later… here I am!
How did you get your first break?
My first real break was through commercials — I landed my very first lead role in an ice cream commercial. For hosting, things started to feel more "official" when I hosted a P-pop event at the Araneta Coliseum. And mind you, that was only around my 5th hosting gig ever! So that was a pretty big moment for me.
What's inspiring you lately?
Podcast-wise, I'm loving Dogshow Divas! I always look forward to new episodes! I learn so much from how witty, charismatic, and intellectual the hosts are. Beyond that, I've been paying attention to how other content creators tell stories. Fun fact: I actually graduated with a degree in Information Technology, so storytelling is something I'm still learning and growing into.
What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
I've noticed I'm really drawn to color! And jeans — any pair that looks good on me, I'm sold. But there are also days I just want to throw on a nice, comfy tank top.
3 words to describe your personal style.
Playful, effortless, and warm!
If your wardrobe had a soundtrack, what would be playing?
"Best of Both Worlds" by Hannah Montana!
Where would we find you on a random Saturday afternoon?
Probably on the pickleball court or in a Pilates class! Or working, since as a host, events usually happen on weekends.
If you could inspire one movement that would genuinely make the world better, what would it be?
Fact-checking.
What are you excited about right now?
Honestly, I'm just so excited to dress up for work! Every event comes with a different theme, so I get to play with a whole new look every time.
